As a Director and Certified Federal Driving Instructor, Alina is passionate about training competent and responsible drivers.
Her versatility in pedagogy allows her to connect with students from all walks of life, promoting an inclusive and enriching learning environment. She is known for her ability to create a calm and relaxed atmosphere where students can progress at their own pace while having fun.
With 38 years of experience, Gérard, a driving instructor, two-phase training facilitator, and quality assurance manager, is the driving force behind L Performance’s excellence.
Experience in Teaching
His outstanding career in driver education—comprising over 87,000 hours of both theoretical and practical instruction—has benefited a wide range of drivers: cars, motorcycles, trucks, trailers, buses, and boats. He has led awareness courses, two-phase training, Eco-Drive sessions, road-safety education (OAC Art. 40–41), advanced “control” courses for holders of Swiss or foreign licenses, as well as theoretical and practical training and continuing-education programs for driving instructors.

These certifications authorize him to organize, deliver, and issue course attendance certificates covering a wide range of specialized skills, such as first aid courses, road awareness training, motorcycle practice, mandatory 2-phase courses, Art. 40-41 OAC remedial education, and advanced training for driving instructors and 2-phase program leaders, among others.
Quality Audits and Monitoring
Since 1993, Gérard has successfully undergone 94 quality control and teaching audits. Each audit, conducted by OCV, ASMC, SGS, and CSR, has highlighted his exceptional knowledge of the subject matter, outstanding teaching methods, and strict adherence to federal guidelines.
Certificate Issuance
Gérard’s innovative methodology has resulted in the issuance of over 150,000 course attendance certificates, reflecting the commitment and quality of our instruction.
Our instructors have at their disposal two Teslas, along with other latest-generation vehicles such as Toyota, Mercedes, and Volkswagen Polo, for your driving lessons. Our adult-focused teaching method combines motivation, theoretical knowledge, and immersive practice.
All our instructors are certified by ResQ and SGS, trained by institutions like the Swiss First Aid Corps or Sanpool, and accredited by OFROU and/or SGS. They hold a diploma or Federal Driving Instructor Certificate, obtained through training at CFR, EPRMC, or EPC/AES Driving Training Centers. Each instructor is authorized to teach by the Geneva Cantonal Vehicle Office (OCV). Mandatory ongoing advanced and refresher training ensures they stay at the forefront of educational standards.
With particular expertise in teaching adults, some of whom have FSEA training, our instructors have been offering First Aid courses since March 1st, 2000. Many of them are also qualified to conduct additional training for the probationary license (2-phase courses).
