Course Prerequisites: Hold a valid learner’s permit for category A1 or A.

Objectives

Our motorcycle courses are designed to enable you to:

  • Gain a thorough knowledge of your motorcycle, including basic maintenance and handling (such as putting on a stand, reading indicators, and adjusting brakes and clutch).
  • Master the dynamics of your vehicle, ensuring safe and technical driving (managing trajectories, effective braking, clutching, etc.).
  • Understand and apply traffic rules for harmonious integration into traffic.
  • Navigate with ease on various types of roads, whether in the mountains, urban areas, or countryside.
  • Optimally prepare for the practical motorcycle exam.

Program

Our motorcycle course program encompasses:

  • Lesson 1Exploring the importance of sensory awareness in riding, with on-site exercises to enhance agility, emergency braking, and clutch control.
  • Lesson 2
    Strategies for assessing other road users, practicing defensive driving while respecting traffic rules and the environment, carried out in real traffic conditions.
  • Lesson 3
    Refresher session focused on mastering the handling of a category A vehicle, including agility maneuvers and emergency braking, conducted at a practice site.
  • Lesson 4
    Advanced riding techniques on winding roads, mountain routes, and highways, including an introduction to counter-steering and traffic awareness, practiced in real-world traffic conditions / St. Cergue.

Registration is binding and final. Cancellations and postponements are not possible. The course fee is maintained, ensuring the quality and continuity of our training for all. View our Terms and Conditions.

Duration: 12h

The basic motorcycle course totals 12 hours for all categories. Courses must be completed in order and within four months of receiving the learner’s permit.
The 12-hour course is divided into three teaching blocks (three sessions of four hours over three days).

Course Schedule

The scheduling of dates and times is arranged with the instructor at the time of registration. Equipment compliant with the exam requirements is necessary.

Number of Participants

For motorcycle courses, the number of students per instructor must not exceed 5.

Expert Instructors

All our instructors are ASMC and OCV qualified. They completed their training with the CFR or EPRMC or EPC / AES Driving Training Center. They regularly participate in advanced training to stay at the forefront of educational standards.
